A Black man reportedly vomited after learning there was semen hidden in a salad he ordered at an Oregon restaurant, according to The Chronicle.

A recently-filed lawsuit claims the man, identified as T.C. in the papers, ate a "decent amount" of a salad before realizing there was human semen concealed as a dressing. This allegedly happened at the Red Robin located at 12560 SE 93rd Ave. in Clackamas, Oregon.

T.C. arrived at the restaurant on March 24, 2021, for a family dinner, but that's when the servers asked the eight-member group to be seated separately, according to the lawsuit. Most of the people in the group were Black and included children. On top of that, they noticed large groups of white customers being seated together, court papers allege.

That's when T.C. asked for management to address these concerns. The restaurant manager, identified as Jason Fosberg, allegedly referred to the group of diners as "a big gang," the filing reads.

Jason Kafoury, the man's lawyer, claims T.C. threw up after realizing what was in his salad and snapped pictures of the substance in his napkin. Laboratory tests confirmed the substance was "human genetic material," Kafoury added.

“He believes this was done on purpose — that someone targeted him because of the color of his skin,” the attorney told reporters. “He’s been really traumatized from this.”

Now his client is seeking $1 million in damages from Red Robin for sexual abuse, negligence, and racial discrimination in Multnomah County Circuit Court. The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office also confirmed the incident is under investigation.

The Chronicle also reached out to Fosberg for comment, but the manager reportedly deferred the question to Red Robin corporate officials. They have not received a response as of Monday afternoon (March 28).
