The Chicago Transit Authority is offering credit for anybody who has unused days on 7 and 30 day passes.
To receive a Transit Value credit, send an email to Ventra Customer Service (customerservice@ventrachicago.com) with the following information no later than April 13, 2020:
- Account holder’s name
- Transit account ID number
- Type of pass (7- or 30-day) in which a credit is being requested

Speaking of transportation, all medical personnel are now allowed to ride the Metra for free. Reports say all they have to do is present their work ID to get on the train. Medical personnel will be able to ride the Metra for free until the end of Illinois' stay-at-home order.
