Join Sunny 106.5 and 8 News Now as we present "A Very Sunny Christmas." A television and radio broadcast that happens on Friday, December 18th at 3 p.m. PT.

You are in for a treat, Vegas! We have partnered up with some incredible talent and famous faces to bring you an hour of exclusive entertainment dedicated to bringing holiday magic and cheer to you and your family at home. All proceeds raised from "A Very Sunny Christmas" will benefit Opportunity Village.

There will be performances by Wayne Newton, Little Big Town, Debbie Gibson, Darius Rucker, Mat Franco, Brian Newman, Russell Dickerson, Shin Lim,Daniel Emmet, Piff The Magic Dragon, Xavier Mortimer, Jen Kramer, Michael Grimm, The Bronx Wanderers, MURRAY The Magician, John Di Domenico, Lorena Peril of Fantasy, Douglas Lefty Leferovich, Vegas Golden Knight, Las Vegas Aces and more!

The special will also air on 8 News Now on December 25 at 12 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. PT.

8 News Now Good Day Las Vegas anchors John Langeler and Alex Backus will host with Sunny 106.5’s morning show AJ and Joanna.

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought numerous challenges to OpportunityVillage and the people they serve, particularly with the upcoming event season as their normal holiday events like Magical Forest have been cancelled for the 2020 season. Fundraising events are necessary to support Opportunity Village’s programs and services, and we hope "A Very Sunny Christmas" will help provide Las Vegas with great entertainment, safe at home, while they donate to a terrific organization like Opportunity Village.
