Congratulations to Yolanda Adams who has been nominated for a Tony Award, but it’s not for singing.
The Gospel diva has been nominated in the Best Original Score (Music and/or Lyrics) Written for the Theater category for writing for SpongeBob The Broadway Musical.
If Adams wins the Tony Award, it’ll join a string of awards that she’s already won including five Grammy Awards, sixteen Stellars Awards, four Dove Awards, one American Music Awards, seven NAACP Awards, one Soul Train Awards, and five BET Awards.
The Tony Awards will be handed out June 10th on CBS.
