The lovable Mrs. Edna Garrett of tv's "FACTS OF LIFE" passed away on Sunday in L.A. Charlotte Rae played Mrs. Garrett on Diff'rent Strokes for one season. After capturing the viewers hearts so much, she was given her own show...a spin off from "Diff'rent Strokes". The show was called "FACTS OF LIFE". It went on to last even longer than "Diff'rent Strokes". Charlotte Rae was 92 years old. By the way, Charlotte started her long career in entertainment by doing radio!!!!
