President Donald Trump gave a harsh response after comedian Rosie O'Donnell revealed that she moved to Ireland after his election victory in November.

Trump, 78, who has been in a decades-long feud with O'Donnell, 62, met with Ireland Taoiseach Michael Martin on Wednesday (March 12), at which point a reporter asked Martin "why in the world would you let Rosie O'Donnell move to Ireland?"

"I like that question," Trump said before asking Martin if he knew O'Donnell and then added "you're better off not knowing her."

White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers also responded with "Good riddance" when reached by TMZ for a comment on O'Donnell's move out of the U.S. Trump and O'Donnell have been feuding since 2006 when she criticized Trump's decision not to fire Miss USA Tara Conner amid revelations of drug use, underage drinking and sexual activities, which included referring as "not a self-made man" and a “snake-oil salesman on Little House On The Prairie.”

Trump fired back by calling O'Donnell "a real loser" and "a woman out of control" in comments to PEOPLE, while also making several public jabs about her weight on multiple other occasions. O'Donnell shared a post on her TikTok account Tuesday (March 11) revealing that she had moved to Ireland and was applying for citizenship.

"It’s been pretty wonderful, I have to say," she said. "And the people have been so loving, so kind and so welcoming. And I’m very grateful."

"Although I was someone who never thought I would move to another country, that’s what I decided would be the best for myself and my 12-year-old child," she added.
