Ariana Grande Unveils Cover Art For New Song 'Positions'

A new Ariana Grande era is almost here as the superstar's new song "positions" is set to be released on Friday, October 23rd.

After teasing her new music on social media, Ari shared the release date of her new single, as well as its official cover art. In the black and white photo, Ariana is wearing a mini skirt and crop top with one arm crossed over her body.

On Instagram, the singer also tagged director Dave Meyers, who has previously worked with her on "no tears left to cry" and "God is a woman," hinting that he's also working with her on the "positions" music video. Meyers also posted the "positions" cover art on his Instagram and wrote along with it, "Back in the lab...with my fam."

Ari's "positions" is the first taste of her upcoming new album, which looks like will be released next week on October 30th according to a second countdown on Grande's official website. Ariana also teased her new music in a short clip of her typing positions on a computer keyboard, after sharing "I can't wait to give you my album this month" on Twitter.

And in teasing her new music back in September, Ari also shared a six-second snippet of a new song, as well as potential new lyrics:

Ariana's new album follows her 2019 project Thank U, Next and 2020 Justin Bieber collab "Stuck with U." While we wait for more details on Ari's sixth full-length album, fans have been speculating that she has teamed up with The Weeknd again after he retweeted her "i can't wait to give you my album this month" tweet. The two collaborated previously on their hit "Love Me Harder" from her My Everything album.
