On January 15, 2018 - the music world lost one of its pioneers when Edwin Hawkins, the Father of Contemporary Gospel, passed away. Aside from his platinum 1969 hit "Oh Happy Day," Hawkins recorded scores of other hits such as "I'm Going Through," "Worship the Lord," "To My Father's House”, "Ooh Child"and the Tri-State Mass Choir's "If You Come To Him."
